We are a global commodity investor in metals and mining for the non-ferrous, minor metals and precious metals sectors. 

Concord aims to provide a specialist and flexible investment platform to access the metals sector by committing its own balance sheet to investments or work with its numerous shareholder partners to bring considerable finance to compelling natural resources opportunities around the world.

Concord has asset management experience in smelting, refining, ports and mining. 

With perspective, we seek to invest in or partner with producers with strong management teams, transparent government initiatives, outstanding resource development opportunities with proven geology, or creative business plans of all sizes. We target quality assets at various stages of production from greenfield, brownfield or the expansion stages, or evaluating recycling or reprocessing of older resources with new approaches.  

Our interests extend to metals and minerals processing, refining and smelting assets, including associated power generation infrastructure, or scalable recycling assets and metal renewables opportunities, as well as traditional warehousing, logistics and related infrastructure assets. 

Developing a commodity product flow of relevance to Concord’s core business activities is an essential consideration to all our investment activities.

Concord investment strategy is driven by our top-down macro views combined with detailed fundamental research on the metal industries in which we operate. We will consider investments across the metal space and in line with our geographic experience, while being flexible to account for emerging changes in the global economy, metals supply and demand and geopolitics.

Our approach is not to support lazy technology development without innovating, but rather systems and processes that create a better commodities industry by furthering trust, saving waste, or tracking resource usage. Concord has, and will, consider providing early stage capital to start-up companies that complement Concord’s core business activities.
